A lifelong resident of Monmouth County, Wes grew up at the beach and the skatepark. While attending Rutgers University, he spent a summer studying the post-industrial landscapes of Germany and earned an ASLA Student Honor Award for his undergraduate work. Volunteering with a local watershed alliance sparked his interest in exploring ways of emphasizing natural systems in both urban and suburban development. He was an intern at Melillo Bauer Carman during the spring semester of his senior year before joining the team full time.
