Home shopping could take on a whole new meaning under a redevelopment of the Monmouth Mall that will transform it into a mixed-used complex with 700 apartments. The plan was approved by Eatontown officials on Monday. The mall, which dates back to 1960 and has undergone two previous makeovers, will be known as The Heights at Monmouth under a $500 million joint plan by the Kushner Companies and Brookfield Properties, partners in the project.
