The W Hotel in Hoboken, NJ opened in Spring 2009 to enthusiastic appraisal. The hotel's streetscape, decorative pavements, and landscape features were designed by Melillo + Bauer Associates and provide a striking setting for the avant-garde hotel. A notable design element is the sloped lawn panel which functions to conceal the parking garage entrance while also providing public green-space in the urban setting.
