Located on the historical Curtiss Wright Corporation site which served as an airplane engine factory for WWII Aircrafts, this AvalonBay development opened its doors in the summer of 2012 to their new residents. The project includes a mix of retail shops, rental apartments, and state of the art recreational spaces. The clubhouse and fitness center overlook the amenity courtyard that features an outdoor lounge with fire pit, barbeque area, and a heated pool with sundeck all set to a "living wall" backdrop. The project is centered around the entry plaza where the Rosie "The Riveter" Statue stands tall to celebrate the history of the site.
